Further information concerning charter cruising in Turkey and Greece may be obtained by clicking
on the maroon links immediately above. Thank You. Are you searching for a sailing yacht
on which to Blue Cruise in Turkey or Greece? Are you thinking of a yacht charter cruising Turkey?
Or of a crewed yacht charter cruising Greece? Or both? How about a charter yacht with
accommodations for two guest couples as well as for an experienced crew cruising both Turkey and
Greece. Why not charter such a yacht to cruise ancient Lycia from Telmessos to Phaselis as did
Thomas Spratt. Or to sail Cleopatra's Route along the coast of neighboring Caria and among Greek
Dodecanese islands. Or both.
Why not have a holiday with friends or family cruising the Turquoise Coast's many pine-encircled
coves, or have a holiday first cruising those coves and next hopping from Greek Aegean island to
Greek Aegean island. Then a Royal Navy lieutenant and later a vice admiral, Thomas Spratt cruised
the Greek Aegean in the early 1840's as a surveyor following which he explored the coast of Lycia
in the company of Edward Forbes, an English naturalist. They co-authored Travels In Lycia
locating the sites of many ancient towns theretofore lost to history, pointing the way for later
explorers and for students of history. Why not charter a sailing yacht proceeding leisurely from
one of these intriguing Lycian locales to another. Or charter a sailing yacht to cruise in the
other direction along the Aegean coast of Turkey. Starting in Marmaris. Are you searching for
Marmaris in Turkey? Well, it's almost due north of Rhodes Town about 25 nautical miles distant.
There or elsewhere we can put you aboard a crewed sailing yacht for a holiday not to be forgotten.
We can put you aboard a crewed charter yacht and show you Cleopatra's Route up the coasts of
Caria and Ionia all the way to Ephesus, and then take you to Greek Samos where she subsequently
partied for seven weeks. Or was it for seven months. Sly Puss, a comfortable sailing yacht charter
cruising Turkey and Greece. Contact Charter Yachts Turkey today at charteryachts@gocekturkey.com
